George Matlock

George Matlock is Senior Financial Spokesperson at the European Stability Mechanism and European Financial Stability Facility. Previously, he was a financial and markets journalist and broadcaster in London for 30 years, including euro area bonds correspondent at Reuters and Dow Jones Newswires for 15 years. He was the inaugural European Stoxx market writer for Wall Street Journal Europe.

Mr Matlock holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics and Public Administration from Royal Holloway College in London, and a postgraduate certificate in newspaper journalism.
