Good evening. Today, we had a good meeting with the Secretary of the US Treasury, Janet Yellen, and an interesting Eurogroup meeting. It was a good opportunity to exchange views on global economic developments and challenges in the aftermath of the IMF/World Bank Annual meetings in Marrakech last week.
Debrief on international meetings
The world economy is on course for a soft landing next year after a bumpy journey. Markets are eyeing some risks and must navigate more uncertainty. That was the view at the International Monetary Fund (IMF)/World Bank annual meetings held last week in Morocco.
The European Stability Mechanism (ESM) will launch 6-months Bills of the European Stability
Mechanism (ESM) by auction. An issue volume up to EUR 1.1 billion is envisaged.

CNBC: I'd like to start our conversation by asking you about what's happening with the ESM reform. This has been such a debate within the Eurozone and yet this has not yet been approved. Where are we at this stage? Is it likely that we'll see this reform approved at all?
