"An Early Warning System for Systemic Risks"

Gianni De Nicolò - Gianni De Nicolò joined the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Institute for Capacity Development in 2011. Prior to that, he worked for seven years in the IMF Research Department, and four years in the IMF Monetary and Capital Markets Department. Before joining the IMF, Gianni De Nicolò worked as an Economist in the Division of International Finance at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, as well as as an Assistant Professor at Brandeis University, and Lecturer at the University of Rome I. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota. Gianni De Nicolò's research includes theoretical and empirical models of banking, banking regulation, and systemic risk.
