Daragh Clancy

Principal Economist, Economic and Market Analysis

Daragh Clancy is a Principal Economist at the European Stability Mechanism. Prior to joining the ESM, he worked as an Economist at the Central Bank of Ireland and the Teagasc Rural Economy Research Centre. Daragh has also spent time on secondment at the Irish Finance Ministry and the European Central Bank. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from University College Dublin. His current research focuses on the analysis of fiscal and macroprudential policies. He has published his research output in several international peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Energy Policy and the Journal of Macroeconomics.
