Carmine Gabriele
Senior Economist, Economic and Market Analysis
Carmine Gabriele is a Senior Economist at the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), where he returned in 2023, after a 2-year experience at the European Commission working on public finance surveillance.
Before joining the ESM, he worked at the European Central Bank in the Money Market and Liquidity division.
Mr Gabriele holds a PhD in international finance from the University of Luxembourg and a Master's degree in economics from Bocconi University. His current research focuses on sovereign stress, sovereign spillovers, early warning models, yield-curve modelling and financial stability.
