Luca Zavalloni

Principal Economist, Economic Risk Analysis

Luca Zavalloni is a Principal Economist at the Economic Risk Analysis division.

Since joining the ESM as an Economist, Luca has made significant contributions to the analytical work of the institution and has continuously expanded his responsibilities within ERA. His work has supported a wide range of economic and policy-related projects, and he has become a valued contributor to the division's activities.

Luca holds a Master in Economics from the University of Bologna and then completed his PhD in Economics at the University of Warwick. After completing his PhD, he joined the Central bank of Ireland as a Senior Economist before moving to the ESM at the end of 2019. Throughout his time at the ESM, Luca has demonstrated strong analytical expertise, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
