On 28 November 2025, the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) and the European University Institute (EUI)'s School of Transnational Governance brought public and private sectors together for the EUI-ESM Crisis Communications Conference.
This third event in the ongoing project on crisis communication explored one central question: how can we communicate effectively in times of crisis?
Discussions ranged from organisational strategies and emergency politics to practical challenges such as managing misinformation and maintaining transparency under pressure. Keynotes and panels highlighted that trust remains the essential currency of stability when navigating uncertainty.
