Sofie De Beule-Roloff

Sofie De Beule-Roloff is a Member of the Management Board and the Chief Operating Officer of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM). She is responsible for Human Resources and Organisation, the Business Strategy and Project Management division and the Information Technology and Facilities Management division. Since the ESM’s inauguration in 2012 and prior to her appointment to the Management Board in September 2019, Ms. De Beule-Roloff served as the Head of Human Resources and Organisation of the ESM.
Previously, Ms. De Beule-Roloff was engaged in the field of Human Resources across various industries, including hospitality, finance, insurance, aviation, and retail, for more than fifteen years. She has worked as a project manager, consultant, and trainer, and has headed HR departments in different cultural environments and economic situations.
After graduating from the Erasmushogeschool in International Hotel Management in Brussels, Ms. De Beule-Roloff obtained her professional certification in Human Resources Management at ICN École de Management Nancy. She also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Employment Law and Practice from De Montfort University in Leicester.
