Gălăb Donev

Galab Donev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance: Mr Galab Donev has considerable experience in positions at the highest level of government. He served as caretaker Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria in two successive governments in the 2022 – 2023 period. His professional career is closely connected with the President’s administration where he took the position of Head of Cabinet of the Head of State from 2023 to 2026 and prior to that he had been Secretary for Social Policies, Demography and Healthcare. Mr Donev is an established expert in the field of labour and social policy, having held the positions of caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and Social Policy in three governments (in 2017 and 2021). He holds two Master’s degrees – in Law and in Finance.
