Metodi Metodiev

Metodi Metodiev is Deputy Minister of Finance with extensive professional experience related to the European economic, monetary, financial and fiscal architecture. He is a full Member of Economic and Financial Policy Committee (EFC), Member of the Board of European Investment Bank (EIB) and Member of the Board of European Investment Fund (EIF). He held other prominent roles within Bulgaria's Ministry of Finance, including Director of European Affairs and Economic Policies, and head of the ECOFIN unit at the Permanent Representation of Bulgaria to the EU. He represents the Ministry of Finance in the international financial institutions and numerous high‑level European and international formats.

He holds a Master’s degree in International Finance from the University of St. Andrews, United Kingdom.
