Eduard Müller

Eduard Müller became ESM Governor for Austria on 13 June 2019, following his appointment as Minister of Finance and Minister for Civil Service and Sport.
 
Previously, Mr Müller held various positions in the Ministry of Finance, including Director General for Austrian Tax and Customs Administration (2015-2019), Deputy Secretary General (2016-2019), Director for Management of Tax and Customs Administration (2002-2013), Head of Reform Team (2001-2002), Expert on Wages and Income Taxes (1995-2000) and Tax Auditor (1981-1994), Furthermore, he worked as Chief Executive Officer of Linde Verlag (2013-2015).
 
In addition, he is the Chairman of the Federal Audit Commission for Accountants and Auditors in the Chamber of Accountants (since 2015), as well as author and lecturer in taxes and Management.
 
Eduard Müller holds a master´s degree in Business Administration in General Management and is a graduate in Economics.
