Facilities Management Trainee
Job description
Deadline for application: 19 February 2026. We are looking for a trainee to assist the Facilities Management (FM) team in their duties during a period of six months.
The trainee will also drive various assigned tasks and projects on tactical and operational levels. S/he will report to Head of IT and Operations
Through this traineeship, you will be enabled to acquire practical experience and knowledge of the day-to-day work of the different business areas and to work in a multilingual and multicultural environment, and you will be introduced to the professional world and the constraints, duties and opportunities therein. In this context, you will interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Purpose Of The Traineeship
- Support the Service Desk in providing internal client services (e.g.: respond to requests and incidents, assign tasks to team members and service providers, supervise delivery dates, internal communication, and “FM-marketing”, participate in relevant meetings, perform reporting and documentation tasks)
- Participate in supporting projects such as requests for proposals, enhancement of tools and evolving ways of working, potential space modification initiatives, and management of internal events
- Support in the management of inventory and space, including statistics and reporting (e.g. use of workspaces and other facilities, stock of supplies, key and badge management)
- Support administrative tasks such as filing work sheets, proposals, and other documentation
Key Background
- A candidate (or recent graduate within one year of graduation) for an advanced university degree
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- A previous traineeship experience in the facilities management would be an asset
