Vincent Van Peteghem
Minister of Finance
Vincent Van Peteghem is currently Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
Mr Van Peteghem was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in October 2020. Prior to that, he served in government as a Member of the Flemish Parliament (2019-2020) and Member of the Chamber of Representatives (2016-2019). Mr Van Peteghem has also held the position as the Mayor (since 2018) and the Municipal Councilor (2013-2018) of the Municipality of De Pinte.
He is a graduate of Ghent University, with a Masters in Applied Economics (2002), a Masters in the Management of Public Organisations (2003), and a PhD in Applied Economics.
