Distinguished personalities and prominent leaders from Greece, Europe and around the world will join us in this year’s annual 22nd Economist Roundtable with the Government of Greece scheduled to take place in Athens on June 14th-15th 2018 to brainstorm, debate and put forward proposals on all the issues that this high profile event will once again be addressing.

On the economic forefront, Europe will have a spring in its step as the euro area has been a pleasant surprise. It endured two recessions in the past decade and survived a near break-up but the year ahead will have a feeling of normality.
Greece’s third EU/IMF bailout is due to expire in August 2018. Without a doubt, 2018 is set to be pivotal for Greece’s future as the country aims to return to the path of competitiveness and growth after years of economic crises and uncertainty.
