EFSF programme for Greece (expired 30 June 2015)
The EFSF programme was part of the second package of financial assistance for Greece. Between 2012 and 2015, the EFSF disbursed €141.8 billion, of which €130.9 is currently outstanding. The IMF contributed an additional €12 billion in loans.

As a result of short-term and medium-term debt relief measures for Greece (approved by the EFSF Board of Directors in January 2017 and November 2018), the EFSF loan tranches were re-profiled twice. This involved an extension of the loan maturities; details are shown in the table below.

1 On 27/02/2015, the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) redelivered €10.9 bn in bonds issued by the EFSF for the recapitalisation of Greek banks. This comprised: a full repayment of the €7.2 bn disbursed on 31/05/2013; and a partial repayment of €3.7 bn of the loan tranche disbursed on 19/12/2012)
