Petteri Orpo (1969) has served as Minister of Finance for Finland since 22 June 2016. He served as Minister of the Interior from 2015 to 2016, and as Minister of Agriculture and Forestry from 2014 to 2015. Furthermore, he has been a Member of Parliament since 2007.

Before these appointments, Mr Orpo served as Chair of the the National Coalition Party Parliamentary Group between 2011 and 2014 and fulfilled various functions for the Group between 2007 and 2012.

He was a member of the Hospital Disctrict of Southwest Finland from 1997 to 2000, and Chair of the Board of Youth Work from 1997 to 1998.
